About Shubert & Associates Insurance
Shubert & Associates was founded by Dan Shubert. In January of 2008 Shon Messer
ioined the agency as a partner. We do commerical business in 40 states and personal lines in Alabama, Georiga, Tennessee, and Mississippi. We make up well over 30 years experience in the insurance industry.
We pride ourselves in making sure that our customers are treated like family. Our goal is to not to just sell insurance policies, but to develop true long lasting relationships with our customers. We are your local friends with many different choices.
Our Staff
Dan Shubert - Founding Partner
 Dan Shubert is the Senior Founding Partner of Shubert & Associates Insurance. He has been in the Insurance industry for over 20 years as a Corporate Risk Manager and Agent. Dan is anative of Alabama and a graduate of John Carroll High School and The University of Alabama. He resides in the Riverchase Community of Hoover, AL with his wife Lucy and son Adam. He and his family attend Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church and enjoys playing golf and fishing.
Shon Messer - Senior Partner MSFS, CLTC, RFC
 Shon Messer is Senior Partner with Shubert & Associates, a company specializing in insurance and financial solutions. Shon is a Financial Educator that helps families and businesses achieve peace of mind and security through his unique planning process and educational workshops. Shon has over 13 years experience with a Masters Degree in Family Financial Planning and Counseling, as well as the CLTC (Certified in Long Term Care), RFC (Registered Financial Consultant) professional designations.
He is married to Leslie who is a pharmacist at CVS Pharmacy. They have one daughter Hannah who is 6 years old and a son Samuel who is 2. He enjoys golf, fishing, learning and reading. His family attends Church of the Highlands.
Marsha Reese - Personal Lines Agent & CSR, CISR
 Marsha Reese is a Personal Lines Agent and Customer Service Representative. Ms. Reese has a diversified insurance background working for independent and exclusive agencies in personal lines and commercial. Ms Reese has completed CISR training. Ms Reese has been happily married for 38 years with a wonderful son and daughter and 4 grandchildren. Ms. Reese spends her spare time gardening and hiking in the great outdoors.
Becky Berryhill - Agent
 Becky Berryhill comes to us with 10 years experience in the insurance industry and business management. She is a Personal Lines Agent and Customer Service Representative. Ms Berryhill has three sons, a daughter in law and a grandson. She spends her spare time enjoying outdoor activities, gardening and social events. She is an active member of Church of The Highlands.
